On the road again

We finished up our quick trip to Schlitterbahn today. Now back on the road to Grandma’s house.

Gotta say staying at the Resort at Schlitterbahn was nice and I would do it again. We stayed in the park til 8pm closing last night and got to ride a bunch of stuff because the lines were shorter. This morning we got to go into Blastenhoff at 9am before “regular” folks and rode the Master Blaster (awesome!) with only about a 30 minute wait. Then we rode the Black Knight twice with no wait. All before 10am.

We planned to stay all or most of the day today in the park, but we were too tired. Made it til 1pm. I must say I think, if you want to ride stuff with your kids, 5 years old is a good age. We took a 5 yr old and 6 1/2 yr old. They had a blast and rode everything including some scary body slides. How/why in the world did we go here 3 years ago with the same 2 kids??

Now on to family Fourth of July in Palacios with the Hooper clan!
